Training Programme

The training Programme, which has duration of six months, initially commenced in June of 2002, and is very well developed. To date this component of the project has accomplished a lot. There do exist well-developed modules for each of the eight courses being taught at present.

The training program is executed in two parts:

Business Communication

Principles of Economics

Principles of Accounting

A primary method of engagement of project beneficiaries is the Work Group
concept incorporated into the curriculum in order to improve the efficacy
of the training programme and curriculum implementation.

Training is conducted at the Secretariat of VYC located at 235 South Street, Lacytown, Georgetown four days per week (Monday – Thursday) for a maximum of three hours commencing from 17:00hrs – 20:00hrs.
